A joyous recompense awaits
All who seek thy holiness!
Cleave to love and evil hate,
Receive the oil of righteousness!
Sing anew, sing for joy,
Rejoice in Christ your King!
Bring Him worship, come enjoy
As angels rise and sing.
Cast your every care on Him
And flee all earthward lusts.
Know the joy that fills within
As He becomes your trust.
Psalm 45:7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.
