What comfort and reprieve I find,
What wondrous peace of mind!
To know my God delights in me,
Revives my lanquid levity.
Though I may fail He never does,
Though I am frail I'll rise above;
Every trial and every test-
He'll one day put to rest.
I am assured I am His child
I am forever reconciled.
In reverance and hope in Christ,
A promise holds me tight:
Despite my inconsistencies,
He still delights in me.
Psalms 147: 11 "the LORD delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love."

Great poem Tom! I relate. My favorite lines were "Though I may fail He never does,/ Though I am frail I'll rise above;". You did a great job with assonance in this poem.
Beautiful, Tom! He KNOWS me and loves me still. What a thought!
