We all have our own earthly giants,
Challenges we must meet.
Obstacles meant to be overcome
Or our lives are full of defeat.
We do not begin with "Goliath"
But first fight the lion and bear,
For confidence comes with each new success
And faith is the armor we wear.
With every success there's new battles,
And when we "Goliath" must meet,
The past has prepared us, for God has not spared us,
Our giants will lay at our feet.

An enjoyable piece; many may remember the outcome between 'David and Goliath',but most (unlike you) have forgotten that David spent the majority of his time before the Lord and was prepared for battle. Over the years I've been taught that David grabbed five stones from the brook - five represents the 'hand of God'; also Goliath had four brothers...
