Lord of the Seas

Though the tempter tries to turn the seas
A captain oversees and hears our pleas.
Though the devil dares to raise the waves
A Savior paves a path and calms our way.

Though one tries to overturn this ship
The Lord is quick to steady and equip.
Though the liar lives to slay believers
The Word: a weaver’s net is His retriever.

Isaiah 59:1 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

2 Timothy 3: 16,17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
