Perfect Love

Perfect love casts out fear

our God came to lead the way

He takes us through the nights so dark

Our God, will never lead His Sheep, astray

Yes, perfect love is our God

On the Cross, He came to set us free

He gave His life, breaking chains of sin

Oh Yes, God, the Mighty Redeemer, is He..

I will sing a song of Praise to God!

I thank him for casting out all fear

I will take His Hand, as He leads my way

Oh Yes, I am safe when my God is near..

The Sacrificial Lamb

Oh how sweet the Name of Jesus
You are the Great I am!
Jesus, you came down to save each sinner
You became the Sacrificial Lamb.

Oh yes, You are the tender Lamb of Mercy
as you came to save those lost and alone
as He gave His life for all, as ransom
Yes, my praise to God, on Heaven's Throne.

Yes, oh how I owe my life to Jesus
Oh for the work He did on the Cross
The pain he bore for me a sinner
Oh with His life, He paid the final cost.

Oh yes, my heart I give to the Savior
He came to set the captives free
My God, Who is the Lamb of Glory, Yes!
He is the Lamb who died on Calvary.

Broken and Spilled Out

As I come to you, Lord Jesus
I come broken and spilled out.
I come with tears of deepened sorrow
for I am a sinner, of this, there is no doubt.

Lord God, as You meet me in my coming
with all my offerings of shame and sin
I stand before you exposed and naked
Forgiveness, Lord, oh how I need it, deep within.

I come, admitting my need for You
as my sin keeps me bound to Satan's lies.
Oh Lord, here I stand before You broken
at the Cross, where Grace and Mercy are supplied.

Yes,I come to you, my Savior
knowing all my sin is washed away
And with my arms lifted to You, in Honor
I know the Cross is here to always stay.

Unemployed!

In college, I began to work
To earn paychecks where dollars lurk.
So, gainfully employed I was -
Sometimes with three jobs, just because!
Economies, both good and bad,
It mattered not -- a job I had.

However, now things aren't so great;
In circumstances that I hate,
I learn my life-long skills aren't prized --
In fact, I find I've been downsized!
Now middle-aged, I am annoyed
To face my future, unemployed.

I know my future's in God's hands,
But this is not what I had planned.
So, should this poem your thoughts inspire,
Please contact me! I am for hire!

There is No God

"There is no God," he claimed, and all creation disagreed.
Thunder shouted His name, wind whispered of His every deed.
But he could only hear the void between ears left and right.
He couldn't read what the stars wrote; he saw only the night.

"Perhaps God has removed Himself," he said as God stood near.
The stones cried out to greet Him, but the man refused to hear.
The hills sang while the trees danced, worshipping in green array.
God opened wide His arms; the man closed his eyes, turned away.

"Perhaps God died eons ago," he smirked as angels sighed.
"Perhaps the whole myth ended on the day that Jesus died."
The birds ignored him as they raised their songs of praises high;
The flowers waved, the grasses bowed, the Living God passed by.

Psalm 14:1-3 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

I come as a virgin bride, Lord
beautiful in each and every way
I come offering myself to you
unashamed and here to stay.

I love you Lord Jesus, oh ravage all my heart
as I lay beside you, waiting, take every hidden part
I come to be your Bride, Lord, clean and undefiled
as you hold me in your arms, my sin now reconciled

Oh Lord, laying down beside you
I offer you my very life
take each part of who I am
and Love me through this very night!

As your spirit flows into me
Lord, let me feel your gentlest of hands
Lord, whisper your tender words of passion
I offer myself to you and now understand!

Lord, oh that I will be yours forever
a bride, now clean and purified
You see me as your Beloved
the reason you were crucified

You died for me on that cross, my Lord
knowing one day I would be your perfect bride
offering to you all my sin and scars, Lord
Your Life given for me , Crucified!

There are No Chains

There are no chains to tough to break
a link has no power to claim
there is no lock that cannot be picked
The Cross has power to heal sins evil stain

No heart can be kept from our Holy God
no sin to dark for Him to care
The Lord is stronger than every link
He will shatter sins darkness, anywhere

There is no steel that will not be bent
there are no flames that will burn away
The passion of our Holy God to love and heal
burns stronger than the Enemy, any day

Yes, the Power in each broken chain
brings freedom by grace and mercy, supplied
There is our God, Savior, Redeemer , Friend
who broke sins chains when His arms opened wide

Oh Yes, there are no chains to tough to break
there is no heart to tough to claim
there is no sin to keep God out
Jesus died to unlock sins evil stain.

A Song of Comfort

Sing a song of comfort, Lord
to those whose life will never be the same
draw nearer, Lord, oh nearer, still
May the Spirit comes closer in their pain

Lord, come quickly in this time of grief
come quickly, to draw hearts nearer, Lord, to Thee
bring hope and strength in this grieving time
let Your presence be all that they see.

From Your healing song, bring gentle words
and comfort, and strength as You reach for their hand
Comfort each one in their loss, dear Lord
and carry them when they have no strength to stand.
