Raindrops From Heaven

My tears fall like raindrops from heaven,
And yet through the dark clouds I see
His promise of blessing is stamped
In the sky,
The sun is still shining for me.

My tears are His treasured possession,
They soften, they nourish, they cleanse,
And just like His raindrops,
They bring fresh new growth
As my prayer to heaven ascends.

Surrender is sometimes so painful,
Yet all that I gain's worth far more,
For all that I cherish
Can never compare
To the treasures He has yet in store.

"For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows (present) grace and favor and (future) glory--honor, splendor and heavenly bliss! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly." Psalms 84:11 (Amplified Bible)

Dancing in the Rain

Here we are before you , Lord
to dance in the falling rain
no matter the type that soaks our heart
Lord , we know Your love will be the same

Yes, here we are soaking in the rain
letting Your peace soothe every weary part
and when life gets to heavy to bear all alone
it's there, where Your healing covers our heart

chorus:
Yes, to dance, to dance , to dance in His rain
oh what a comforting thought to feel
no matter how hard the day might become
Jesus , it's Your powerful presence that is real

Fall down on us, O God, with a rain of joy
and in the storms, reach down with healing hand
and even in the midst of uncertainty or fear
Lord , we know You're here to lift us up to dance

Chorus:
Yes, to dance, to dance , to dance in His rain
oh what a comforting thought to feel
no matter how hard the day might become
Jesus , it's Your powerful presence that is real

Yes, to dance, to dance, to dance in the rain
what a dance that is sure to be
for no matter how heavy life seems for us all
it's there , that God's Dance of Rain will set us free

A Place of Hope

In times of hurting, pain or fear
we have a God who hears, and cares
and in the times that we feel all alone
it is our God, who is always waiting there

Yes, He is here, to stand beside you now
His Love conquers all pain , or worry or fear
for in the place where our God holds you close
it's in His hands, that He holds your every falling tears

chorus:
For He is our Hope, in rough and stormy seas
He is our hope when waves come crashing down
and in our days and nights where many tears may fall
it is our God - whose peaceful presence comes to surround

Oh , in His healing hands that come from above
our Father comes to bring the gift of peace
for the hope we have in His comforting hands
it is our God, whose faithfulness will never cease

Yes, there is hope.. there is hope - in Him, a Place of Hope
a place , where we come to lay our burdens down
and in the wait and see , of answers unknown
it is our God, whose presence is always found

chorus:
For He is our Hope, in rough and stormy seas
He is our hope when waves come crashing down
and in our days and nights where many tears may fall
it is our God - whose peaceful presence comes to surround

For He is here, to stand beside you now
His Love conquers all pain or worries or fear
for in the place where our God holds you close
it is in His hands, that He holds your every falling tears

so look up to the Hope , yes, look up to Him
the Hope that comes from a Father's love
for in this time, where healing needs to be
it is now, where Hope is found from above.

Poem: A Sinner Like Me

Pushing this flesh into alignment,
guided by The Word most holy and pure,
I'm striving to learn principles
for a sanctified life to endure.

My Lord loves me without hesitation
and allowed a part of Himself to die.
He's calling me homeward without reservation;
by His Spirit, to His side, I'll eventually fly.

Knowing I'm a child of His,
during trying times I find true encouragement.
I'm able to lean on His strength
while in search of heavenly ascent.

Stumbling forward with pained progress,
I've chosen to turn myself towards Thee.
On Your path, lit by spiritual Light, I'm hoping...
That You will still forgive... a sinner like me.

Poem: His Blessings

His blessings upon my life flow -
No matter where I am
or wherever I happen to go.

Overcoming the curse of Mankind,
is a consuming, infinite Love
from the One declared divine.

As I continue inside His Will,
sheltered by Sacrificial grace,
His many promises are fulfilled.

Truly blessed, to be a blessing
is simple for anyone to see -
As I'm fully submerged... in God's covering.

Resurrection Song

My sin I bring , humbly to You , Lord
to the place where You once laid it down
My sin , I surrender as You took it all
Yes , as You've led me to such Holy ground

It is here in Risen splendor , Lord
You are here , yet , now reigning free
Your Holy presence in this awesome place
O Lord, for all, may Your Glory, be all we see !

Yes , my Redeemer died and now yet lives
He leads us to where the cross , once stood
It was there You took our sin upon Yourself -
Yes, the cross stained with all sin
and nothing else but the Savior's blood

It's here on such Holy ground
calling out, O God - You are the King of Kings "
with this , my sin , I hand to You , O Lord
its by Your Redeeming blood
now my salvation song, I can sing :

I believe, I believe - this song I shall sing
It's to Jesus the Redeemer , my hands I raise
it was from the Cross that I first saw the Light
and now, to You, O Lord, this heartfelt song of Praise :

Yes, I believe, I believe, that my Savior lives
because of my sin debt, my Savior came
From the Cross, to the grave , where my Redeemer Arose
I sing - Hallelujah to the Risen One
Yes, Hallelujah, My God forever Reigns!

The Path To Joy

Negativity gets us nowhere,
Our attitude, our choice.
We can view our blessings
Or grumble with our voice.

The clouds may still be present,
May nag our every step,
With Jesus as our focus
Our hearts know we are kept.

In complaining lies ingratitude,
A victim we become
To Satan's darts of fear and doubt
Until God's kingdom comes.

God's children know their future,
It's temporary here.
Rejoicing and thanksgiving
Will rout those darts of fear.

God's grooming us for better things,
Of this we can be sure,
Preparing us for what's ahead
In His hands we're secure.

Our bitterness a habit,
It's far past time to break.
And bitterness can oft repel
The friends we hope to make.

Our spirits filled with sunshine
Oft magnets then become,
A draw to friends and neighbors,
A witness then to some.

For nothing matters more on earth
Than leading souls to Him,
And spirits filled with sunshine
Will cause the clouds to dim.

A thankfulness develops
For His great gift of love,
The enemy's attacks on us
We then can rise above.

In the Midst of Thieves

One on His right, one on His left;
All were sentenced unto death.
One hurled insults, one defended
One found life, the other’s ended.

One repented, one maligned
All saw grace through Him defined.
One by Christ found paradise,
One defiant, paid the price.

One feared God and saw the vision
All there witnessed their decisions.
One there asked to be remembered
One alone, would meet the embers.

One like you, face this decision
All will come to this division.
One found life, the other death.
Choose while there remains a breath.

By Tom Valles

Luke 23: 39-43 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. (KJV)
