Raindrops From Heaven

My tears fall like raindrops from heaven,
And yet through the dark clouds I see
His promise of blessing is stamped
In the sky,
The sun is still shining for me.

My tears are His treasured possession,
They soften, they nourish, they cleanse,
And just like His raindrops,
They bring fresh new growth
As my prayer to heaven ascends.

Surrender is sometimes so painful,
Yet all that I gain's worth far more,
For all that I cherish
Can never compare
To the treasures He has yet in store.

"For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows (present) grace and favor and (future) glory--honor, splendor and heavenly bliss! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly." Psalms 84:11 (Amplified Bible)

A delightful piece; our joy should always be found in His presence, despite the rain of our tears; nicely done.

Thank you, Joe. We are so fortunate to have the companionship of One who truly knows us and still loves us...even in the rain.
