when

when
there is no more 'today'
when tomorrow
no longer threatens or cajoles
when
yesterday is an eternity away
and blessings come in winds
and waves and shoals
its then
and only then
that fear
becomes a fiction of the past
then
and only then
that love comes home at last

Very sweet poem!

What made this poem interesting was your use of rhyme. It's not in any form, but flows very well. It also creates very specific pictures. Very nice!

Beautiful poetry! And speaks a real truth with new symbolism, for we know that love is the opposite of fear.
