Sometimes God Needs No Miracle

Sometimes God needs no miracle
To do what is His will,
He need not calm the waves or sea
Commanding "Peace be still".

Sometimes He chooses other means,
No drama and no drums,
Time alone the only need
And still His kingdom comes.

His power need not be displayed,
He whispers, "All is well,"
Sometimes our faith is all He wants
To banish living hell.

Sometimes He gives us inner peace
And still the storm will rage,
But this I know, on this I'll stand,
The battle He will wage.

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." Psalm 20:7 (NIV)

Sister, it just astounds me that God knew you would post this poem, as I am dealing with some major heart issues right now, and am heading to Boise, Idaho tomorrow for a heart procedure to be done. I needed this encouraging word, sister. Thank you so much ..
